Microsoft is also one of the victims of global economy meltdown. This leading software company confirmed that there will be about 5,000 jobs cuts globally in the course of the ongoing slowdown. There are about 5,500 Indians working in Microsoft, and among them 55 will be sent out. Microsoft officials also specified that there will also be recruitment for new employees if the situation changes.
